Dance Production Number
This video was taken on April 16, 2011 during our Grand Alumni Homecoming at Roosevelt College Marikina. Our batch hosted the reunion. So much fun we had that night, not to mention the effort we did to wear our high school uniforms in our dance number. :)

Gimmick with Friends
This picture was taken last Nov. 20, 2010 when we gave our OrgCom Chairwoman Violeta (Roosevelt College Marikina Batch ’87) a surprise birthday bash. It is nice to have some fun once in a while. Just a break from hardwork at home and at work. Actually I missed going to gimmick since I’m doing this often on my younger years. I usually go out on Black Friday or Saturday night. It’s always nice to be with friends on a gimmick. Actually I missed my old friends and I missed gimmick! But I know that I won’t be able to do it more often, it’s different now…. I have my son and I know my responsibility. :DReminiscing High School Days
I just attended (for the first time) Roosevelt College Marikina’s Alumni Homecoming. I went with my former classmate Met Met who became a dear friend. We paid the ticket worth Php 250.00 each which includes the raffle and meal stubs. Funny that I didn’t noticed that while walking on a red carpet, I waved to my former classmates like a celeb in an Oscar’s and even posed for a pic in their big tarpo Hahaha… We started the night with a cocktail. I had 2 glasses of
Margarita then afterwards had Barako coffee (the main sponsor of the event). Went inside the gymnasium, looked for the tables reserved for our batch (87), chatted a little and munched our dinner. The program started at around 9 pm so I expected that it will end late. No worries about our security ‘coz I know there are hidden security cameras all over the campus.
Monthly Gimmick
On December 1, 2007, after 20 years, we had a high school reunion and themed as “Magkita-kita at Magtulungan”. More or less 500 Roosevelt College Marikina alumni attended the said event. From then on our section Sandalwood had a constant communication. Two years after, we had the part 2 of the reunion but only approximately 100 alumni attended the event. This time we danced the night out with ’80s music and shared bountiful of potluck foods and drinks. After dining I thought I better brought diet aids instead of my favorite siomai.
When the night was almost ended, our group decided to go out and had coffee at Bang Bang coffee shop in Sta. Lucia East Grandmall area. While we are chit chatting, someone suggested that we should meet every month or better yet celebrate one’s birthday. We started celebrating last Feb. 12 (Jojo’s bday), next month is Rackie’s and will follow every month of the year. It only mean one thing… We will be having a monthly gimmick. Yehey!!!
