Entering Primary Level

Sean Kirk finally graduated from preschool!  He spent his three years in preschool in Green Gables Academy and his kinda excited to enter grade one.  I can sense that he’s looking forward for his new school (Roosevelt College Cainta) eventhough he’s telling me that he’s kinda scared because he knows noone there.  I assured him that he will have new friends just like when he entered nursery.  Surely Sean will still go a loooooong way to finish his studies but he is now telling me his dreams when he grow up which put a big smile on my face and made me think that it’s time   of going to Plano cosmetic dentist.   I told him to study hard and surely he will achieve what he wants.

I was a proud mom when Sean led the National Anthem.  He was so confident while singing it and I am the one who’s nervous.  Hehehehehe….  Got surprised when he was given 2 awards… Most Generous (which he also got in nursery) and Most Industrious. :)

Sean’s First Pet

I just bought Sean his new and first ever pet… a pair of  hamster.  He’s been requesting this for weeks now after he saw the cartoon movie “Bolt”.  I surprised him one afternoon bringing home  the hamsters and it’s perfect timing coz he have to bring pet in school, Green Gables Academy for a pet show.  He went home with a red ribbon saying “lovable pet”.  Just wondering if these animals has rabbies?  Anyways, I think I have to get NC health insurance for both of us.

I got these pets together with the complete set of cage and foods (Sunflower seeds) for 680 pesos at Peppy’s Pet Shop in Cainta, Rizal.  Sean Kirk really enjoys these lovable and cute mammals that he already forgot to play his other toys.  By the way he named them Dora and Diego. :D

Ocean Park in Manila

I was able to visit Manila Ocean Park last February of this year when I accompanied my son on his fieldtrip.  As I roamed inside the park I was mesmerized by all the different kind of sea creatures, by the gigantic size of aquariums and its cool ambiance in general.  I wonder if this is how the Ocean Park in Hongkong looks like which I always dream to visit???

One attraction of the park is when you see scuba divers cleaning the aquariums. Yes! It’s like they’re diving in the ocean.  Bet they have a heap amount of aquarium and pond supplies to maintain the area.  There’s only one thing I didn’t agree with their rule.  The park has 2 floors, if you decided to exit the ground floor to the second floor, you can’t go back to the ground floor. What if you want to go back? You have to buy ticket again??? Why is that? :-(
