School Options

What are the factors that we are looking for a school for our kids to get into?  Of course we all wanted a quality education for our kids.  I guess no one will disagree with me here.  When I searched for a school for the first time for Sean, my first factor is the accessibility.  I wanted a near preschool for him, then the method of their teaching and lastly the physical appearance of the school.  Luckily, I got that 3 factors in one school.  Not to mention the nice preschool furniture they have.
When Sean Kirk turned grade 1, what I searched is the population of the school, and of course the quality of their teaching (effective teachers).  I didn’t mind the distance as long as he has a service to and from the school.  Now Sean is adjusting well in his new environment and I very proud of him. :)

How to Retire Comfortably

Do you ever think or plan where to retire?  I know it’s kinda odd with my age (still young to think about it), but there are times it came across my thoughts.  Living a simple life is what I consider.  In an island or seaside are the great places for me, where thereis an abundant of sea foods.  Since I am old then, sea foods and vegetables are the best foods for me.  Not to mention that I can grow vegetables at the backyard and fruit-bearing trees as well.  What more if I get a medicare supplement plans to have a comforatable retirement days.  I just wish I can reach my retirement age and GSIS at that time still have money to give my benefits/pension. :)

Hard Times

Doing the entire household chores is not a joke.  From cooking foods, cleaning the house, washing the dishes, sweeping the back and front yard and doing the laundry is not an easy thing to do.  Ooopsss… and being a tutor to my son. I now understand the hardship of our househelp.  Why??? Because I am presently doing it since last week ‘coz I have now no househelp to do it for me.  And after the chores it is always nice to have relaxation lying on a memory foam mattress and have a nice whole body massage.  Hahahaha..
But believe it or not… I am enjoying what I am doing.  I now feel the essence of being a mom.  And now I became more responsible person. :D

I Hate Rainy Days

Today was a very hard and tough day for me.  I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to prepare my son for school.  Then afterwards prepared myself for work.  Actually it is my routine everyday since Monday for I don’t have a househelp anymore.  But don’t get me wrong… I am not complaining this chores, as a matter of fact I am enjoying it as I feel the real essence of being a mom.  What I hated was the 2-hour continuous heavy rainfall that happened this afternoon.  It made us stranded for 4 hours (better to bring extra clothes and lingerie with me all the time).  Good thing that I have a very nice neighbor who’s taking care of Sean if I’m not home yet.  Ortigas Extension in Taytay and cainta area was not accessible due to flood.  Then we decided to go back and travel the stretch of Sumulong Highway in Antipolo only finding out that we still can’t go home in anyways via Marcos Hiway and Marikina.  To end up my story we dined at Jollibee  Masinag and stayed for 3 hours.
