Hair Care

They say that hair is our crowning glory. And I agree with that.  Healthy hair gives additional points to one’s physical attributes.   There’s lot of articles about hair care on the internet which are  interesting.  One captured my attention is about hair loss for I have  thinning hair.  They say that average age for women dealing with  thinning hair is from 25 – 35.  And some of the causes of shedding are  stress, genetically inherits from family, menopausal stage, illness  from lupus, hypothyroidism, pregnancy,  etc…  I wonder what’s the  best hair loss treatment in the market today?  I’m sure some are  interested to know too.

One tip I gathered is to apply aloe vera’s extract directly to your scalp and leave it overnight.  Put a shower cap to be more effective.   Another is to use minoxidil which is available over the counter.  It’s  available in 2% and 5% concentrations (I need to know more about this),  and if it didn’t work, the last option is to have a surgical procedure  like hair transplant (I wonder how much it costs).

How about you, do you have any tip for me???

Missed Gimmick

I missed my most awaited gimmick last Saturday night :(   It is because I went home from a seminar dead tired.  I missed the chance that I’ll be seeing my friends that I haven’t seen for a long time.  I’m sure they had fun especially that they spent it in a comedy bar.  Well ok I regret it, but I had one consolation from this… no adult acne for me :)

The fun and laughter that we have whenever we’re all together still lingers in my heart and my mind.  Hey Mitzi and Tina!  If ever you read this article, please organize one again?  And this time I’ll see to it that I’m coming. ;)   Miss you guys!

Fun in Comedy Bar

My weekend would be very busy this week.  Seminar on Friday to Saturday night and still have to meet friends at 9 pm on Saturday.  Yehey! It’s gimmick night!  It’s been a while since my last night out.   I’m kinda excited because we’re going to 22nd St.  (Comedy Bar in Marcos Hi-way, Antipolo City).  I’ll be seeing custom shot glasses again.  Yes, I drink a little.  I like hard drinks, vodka and tequilla in particular.

I always enjoy watching those standup comedians onstage.  They’re really different from their performance in tv.  They’re more vulgar offcam which the audience like more.  I wonder who are the perfomers tomorrow.  I already watched some of them before like Vice Ganda, Chokoleit, Osang, Jose, Wally, etc…  in Klownz, Zirkoh and Punchline.   Can’t wait for Saturday eve to come.

January Brides

Two of my girlfriends are getting married this month.   According to them this is the best month to get married for it’s the start of the year, start of new life.  Not to mention that January is the coldest month of the year.  One of them will spend honeymoon in Palawan and the other one in Boracay.   Whew! Guess I’ll receive baby shower invitations soon. Hehehehe

I agreed with them that January is the coldest month of the year.  I  remember when I went to Baguio City in this time of year.  I really felt the coldness I wanted.  So chilling… so relaxing… felt I wanted to hybernate. Hahahaha…

Working with Machine

I am reminiscing tonight the job I had a decade ago when I worked in a printing press.  Just can’t forget the enjoyment I felt when that time I did men’s job.  I tried operating printing machines such as Minerva, helicopter, vertical and risograph.  It’s kinda messy though but no worry there’s Anilox cleaning to the rescue.

I can say that it was the time where I gained lot of experience.  I worked as a secretary, a machine operator,a liason officer, and even a delivery girl.  Not to mention a good camaraderie with all the employees and the employer of the company.  It is always nice to reminisce good things.  At least it made me smile :)
