Ondoy – the Killer Typhoon final chapter
Tuesday was the day when we started cleaning the house with minimal water supply because of the simultaneous usage of water in most area in Rizal and Marikina. I didn’t able to work for one week (Thank God the agency gave us 5-day special emergency leave), I didn’t have to use my vacation leave. It took us 3 complete weeks to finish the cleanings. Whew! But there was a problem with our tap water. It turned out to be unpotable, so we need some water filters or buy distilled/mineral water.
Life after Ondoy was not easy especially to those who lost their loved ones. Not to mention the properties Ondoy had wrecked. But life won’t stop there, we must move on. With God’s help and friends as well, I was able to recover from the tragedy easily. And I am so enthusiast that I’m continuing my life with my family and Sean.
Metallica Fan

“If it’s too loud, you’re too old.”
This statement caught my attention while searching through the Metallica.com website. As it turns out, an 85-year old grandmother named Margaret Priebe got the chance to meet and jam with Metallica during their Death Magnetic tour in Florida.
Dude, how cool is that?
I would love to see a Metallica concert. If I had enough money, I’d get one of those destin vacation rentals in Florida as soon as possible to watch them. They haven’t been back to the Philippines since their concert in 1990, and after all the new songs they had since then, I’m sure a lot of fans like me would love to have them back here again.
Jeeze, if only the guys of Metallica can read this… XD

Apartment Hunting
I think our house is getting a bit too crowded. It’s either that, or we’re all getting WAAAYY too big. XD
Maybe I should start looking for a place of my own. Like maybe an apartment or one of those manufactured homes that the Japanese make. Hahaha! Yeah, that would be good enough for me.
I live with my family, and unfortunately we’re all kind of fluffy, so yeah, our house is getting crowded. I’m not really very picky person when it comes to houses anyway. As long as it’s livable, has a kitchen and bathroom, and even if it doesn’t have a cable connection, it’s fine with me. Well… I’d love it more if the place had internet connection.
Time to go apartment hunting! XD
Benefits from Seminars
I just came home from a 4-day seminar on Laws and Rules of Government Expenditures (LARGE) at Commission on Audit (COA) in Quezon City. It is in connection with my work as Financial Staff in our office. The seminar had been fruitful to each and everyone of us. The speakers and facilitators had been grateful to us that we were very active and cooperative. True that life is a continues learning process. You won’t stop learning as long as you live.
There are still seminars that I wanted to attend like Basic and Advanced English, Technical Writing (for my blogging), cad drawing or anything about the technology which will surely enhance my knowledge for everyday living.
Friends
My last birthday was a memorable one. My long lost friends celebrated it with me. Some of them I met 14 years ago and some of them are my cousins from where I grew up. Actually I don’t have any plan to celebrate it, but since something unexpected happened which made me feel so lonely, I decided to have a little get together. Look at the pic and see how sexy we are. Hahaha!!! Do you think we need appetite suppressants to be sexier?
