Time Flies Fast
Time flies really fast. In a few days from now another year will be added to my age. Gee I’m getting old! Guess I already need some wrinkle cream hehehehe. Anyways, this path is all we’re going to. What important is you are living as a good citizen and a God-fearing individual.
What do you think the achievement of a person who’s in his late 30′s? Having his own family? dwelling? having a stable job? able to help parents and other people? What do you think?
Sandara is Back
You do remember Sandara Park, don’t you? She was once loved by Filipinos wayback 2004 when she won in
ABS CBN’s Star Circle Quest. She was titled by showbiz peeps as “Pambansang Krungkrung ng Pilipinas” for being so bubbly yet innocent. She went back to her country in South Korea two years ago. Lately, I heard that she conquered Koreans’ heart too. She is one of the member of the Korean Girl Group 2NE1. I watched her on a stage singing her Tagalog song “In or Out” in front of Korea’s crowd. Isn’t it cool?
Now she’s back for a 3-day break which was given by her producer and she chose Philippines as her vacation destination. when I saw her, I noticed that her skin is really nice, glowing. Great acne treatments I guess.
She had dinner with all her friends in showbiz. Dara ( as she’s known in Korea) guested in Entertainment Showbiz said that she might have a Korean telenovela next year.
As one who’s fond of her, I’m really happy to see her once again.
Baby Shower
“The essence of a woman is through giving birth”. This is what we frequently hear from a contestant in a beauty pageant when asked “What is the essence of a woman”. But of course it is only one of the many answers.
In marriages it is always the baby announcements excite everyone in the family. After the much awaited announcement, the baby shower party follows. In this occasion, friends of the mom-to-be are the one who throws the party. And of course the theme… anything associated with babies.
I haven’t attended this kind of party yet. Hope to witness one soon or have my own someday. Who knows…
Love Letters
LETTER TO MY DEAR WIFE
Dear Nicole,
I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you for good. I’ve been a good man to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for It. These last two weeks have been hell. Mr. Lopez called to tell me that you had quit your job today and that was the last straw. Last week, you came home and didn’t even notice that I had gotten a new hair cut, cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers.
You came home and ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don’t tell me you love me anymore, you don’t want sex anymore or anything. Either you’re cheating on me or you don’t love me anymore. Whatever the case is, I’m gone.
Your EX-Husband,
Tom
P.S. Don’t try to find me. Your SISTER and I are moving away to Toronto together this summer ! Have a great life!
———————————————————————————————————
Dear Ex-Husband,
Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and gripping. Too bad that doesn’t work.
I did notice when you got a hair cut last week, but my mother raised me not to say anything if you can’t say anything nice. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with my SISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago..
I turned away from you when you had those new silk boxers on because the
price tag was still on them. I prayed that it was a coincidence that my SISTER had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning …. and your silk boxers were $49.99 !
After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out, so when I discovered that I had hit the lotto for sixty-nine million dollars, I quit my job and bought us two first class tickets to Manila, but when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason I guess.
I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said with your letter that you wrote, you won’t get a dime from me.. So take care.
Signed,
Rich , Freeeee & Available ,….. Nicole .
P.S. I don’t know if I ever told you this but Jacquie , my SISTER, was born Jack . I hope you don’t have a problem with your hemorrhoids.
She’s no Jacquie ….. he’s Jack !
Maria Corazon Cojuangco Aquino: 1933-2009
Cory Aquino, the first female president of the Philippines (1986-1992) and Asia’s first female president died today at 3:18 am of cardiopulmonary arrest after complications of colon cancer. Her remains were at the La Salle Greenhills gymnasium in Mandaluyong City and it is open for public viewing.
What is a colon cancer? It is the cancer of the large intestine. It begins as a small polyps and over time some of these become colon cancer. It only shows that noone is exempted from any disease. Maybe I have to start taking weight loss pills to refrain from these illnesses.
President Cory (not to mention) was known to be the mother of peace and democracy thru People’s Power is a very religious person and with a kind heart and that’s the reason why she was loved by people. Catholics and other religious sector as well are offering vigils for her wellness when she was still in the hospital and until now that she already passed away.
To the family of our beloved Tita Cory, my condolences. To you Tita Cory, you will never be forgotten. Thank you and we will surely miss you.
