Time flies so fast.  I remember when I gave birth to a baby boy almost 6 years ago.  He was so fragile and helpless that I can’t imagine he will turned to be soooooo active little boy.   At three, he easily learned how to ride a bike (with balancers) but only took awhile to remove it and now doing some tricks. At five, he can now ride a motorbike. Whew! Guess I have to get him a low cost term life insurance and a health card hehehehe…

Look at him now.  He even washes his own bike.   Isn’t it cute?  Hmmm… I wonder what he can do 2 years from now???

Public Speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structure, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence or entertain the listeners.  One effective public speaker must have the ability to keeps his listeners stay on their feet.  I always wanted to speak in front of people but this speech anxiety keeps me out of the picture. 

How to be an effective public speaker?
1.  Be resourceful
2.  Always updates what we know
3.  Have a good sense of humor
4.  Be confident
5.  Have a wide vocabulary

To become an effective public speaker, it is not enough to know all these traits, but to put them into practice by putting yourself in a situation where you have to speak to people or audiences.

Sex video scandals are rampant all over the world.  Here in the Philippines, you can find it on the streets (pirated cds) like candies that even minors can buy it.  Have you ever wondered where this videos came from and how it spread all over the place?

Let’s talk about the case of Dr. Hayden Koh’s sex video scandals.  For those who still don’t know, his secret sex videos with different girls was taken from his laptop.  It was uploaded by someone on the internet and fastly spread out.  One thing I reliazed with this scandal, whatever files we want to keep privately, we must keep our hard drives secured.

The losers here are the girls who are truly humiliated and their life  changed since the videos spread out.  I admire Katrina Halili (victim) because she is brave enough to come out in the open and seek for justice.   On the other hand, I also admire Maricar Reyes (another victim) for being quiet on the scandal and preferred to continue her life.

Have you ever heard of asbestos and it’s harm to human? Asbestos is a mineral fiber that if you often inhaled it, you may have a lung cancer, Mesothelioma cancer and asbestosis. In the past, asbestos was added to a variety of product to strengthen them and to provide heat insulation and fire resistance.

It can be found in our own home especially if your house was build in the 70′s era. The common products which contains asbestos are the back of a vynil sheet flooring, door gaskets, decorative materials, wall and floors around woodburning stoves, hot water and steam pipes in older houses, etc…

Better to know which product in our home contains asbestos and try to stay away from it.
