Another People Power

In 1986, the first People Power happened here in the Philippines and it was a successful one because we were able to oust the president and his family out of the palace and exiled in Hawaii.  Right now Egypt is in intensified chaos.  The people want to oust President Mubarak but he refused to do so.
It is so heartbreaking to see that they’re hurting each other.  Stones are flying everywhere and burning vehicles were seen.  Many were already hurt.  I hope that theres no Filipinos to be hurt.  I heard that they are helping each other to be safe.  Kudos to all Filipinos out there who have power engineer jobs, health workers, domestic helpers, etc.
Let us all pray that this riot will end soon and all our countrymen be safe.

Shaina’s Worst Rumor

When I heard about the recent gossip about Shaina Magdayao, I didn’t beleive it.  Shaina and John Lloyd Cruz (his boyfriend) where stucked while having sex.  They brought theirselves into the hospital…  Where the heck they get this story?  Whoever made this story… his imagination is very cranky.  I am very sorry for this fine lady because even it was a false gossip, it may still damage her.
Her family must be so affected by this gossip and I’m sure they are really hurt.  Vina Morales, her sister who had gain back her figure (might be using a natural fat burner) after a year of giving birth, surely understand showbiz’ life.  Good or bad publicity is still a publicity.  Especially that Shaina has a new soap titled “Alyna” which was being aired in ABS CBN.  But according to her, if the rumor continue, they will seek for legal action.

Paris Was Not Allowed in Japan

Immigration didn’t allowed Paris Hilton to enter Japan.  She supposed to attend a fashion show there but immigration denied her entry in Narita Airport after knowing that she pleaded guilty in possessing cocaine in Las Vegas.  Wow!  This is the first time I heard that a celebrity and a fashion heiress was not allowed to enter a certain country.  Pretty Hilton (wondering if she’s using tanning lotions) was detained in the hotel airport for some questioning.  Officials rejected her because in Japan, immigration can deny entry to anyone who had drug-related offences.  I admire Japan with their law about drugs.  If only Philippines practice this too, this will somehow help authorities to fight drug addiction.

September Eleven

Today commemorates some of the events that made a history.  One is the terrorists attack in New York, USA which killed thousands of people.  We won’t ever forget that the famous Twin Tower in New York was hit by an airplane which was hijacked by terrorists.  The whole world mourned on this.
Another one is the birthday of our Late Former President, Ferdinand Edralin Marcos.  For two decades we celebrate his birthday by having a non-working holiday.  within this decade people born on this date usually named after the president.
Today is my brother’s birthday but his name is not Ferdinand.  Well actually my mom suggested that name for him but my father disagreed because he hates long names. :D  I wanna greet my older brother, Diko Omar, a Happy Happy Birthday!!! I probably give him a pull up bars as a birthday gift for he needs to be fit.:D  I’m wishing you all the best! And also to my cousin-in-law, Imelda Ignacio Diego!!!  So do you imagine where her name came from? :D

The Philippine’s 15th President

Congratulations to our new president Benigno Simeon Aquino III!  He preferred to be called PNOY because according to him it is closer to the people and to use BSA as his initial to commemorate his father.  I just watched his inauguration together with Vice President Jejomar C. Binay.   Pnoy is the 15th president of the Philippines and his mom is the 11th.  This is also a history to be noted, mother and son in presidency.  Today is a special holiday and we ought to watch the reason of this  holiday.  I was so relaxed watching the program over GMA Network  sitting on a patio furniture while eating my lunch.  Sean was by my  side and I tried to explain in his wee little mind what was going on.  Guess he understood. :-)
International star Charice Pempengco sang the National Anthem as the program starts.  I was teary eyed while listening to her golden voice (don’t know why).  It is nice to saw Pnoy  riding in his official car with plate no. 1, stepping for the first time in Malacañang Palace as the head of the nation, heading the oath taking of the local and national officials, and held the first cabinet meeting.  I’m sure majority of Filipinos all over the world witnessed the said event and hoping for changes.  We are hoping that the new President will make the Philippine progress for the next 6 years.  To you President Aquino…  May the good Lord bless you and give you the best of health and wisdom to rule our beloved country, the Philippines.  How about you, how do you picture the Philippines under his administration?
