Sweat It Out

Once again we will be celebrating our high school (Roosevelt College Marikina) reunion on Saturday but this time, it’s kinda special for it is our Silver Anniversary. Yes! It’s already 25 years since I finished my secondary education. Time really flies so fast huh?

In connection with this, we’ll be rendering a special number in the tune of Jomais. I am having fun doing this because I really love dancing. And it is the only time that I am able to stretch my muscles and release some sweats too. :D

I just hope that we use Euphonix on Saturday to have a quality sound music. :) I am 100% affirmative that we’re going to have fun this coming Saturday. I am so excited to see old friends again. And also good luck to our dance number.

Weekend Activities

It’s friday night once again… weekend starts… so I decided to rent 5 dvd movies in Video City ,to watch for the weekend. I watched the movie Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s movie “Won’t Last The Day…” first.   Once again I wanna feel how to fall in love again even in a short while (how hopelessly romantic I am… hehehe).

As I watched the movie, I noticed something…. Wait!  The house that Sarah’s family used is actually owned by my relatives in San Roque Marikina! OMG! How in the world I didn’t know that??? I should have seen Sarah, Gerald and Joey de Leon in person and took some pics.  tsk. tsk. tsk.

It was so nice to see the scenes inside the house. Familiar things in the sala set, the terrace, the kitchen with the triple undermount sink, the clinic was not shown maybe because they can’t move the equipment there. And I wonder where did they place St. Jude??? :)

The movie is a light drama which made me cried especially with the heartbreaking scenes. Hu.Hu.Hu… And yes! I fell in love with the moviE and it made me think if I can feel this thing called LOVE again. Hayyzzz….

My New Camera

Yes! I have  new camera.  Just bought it last week.  It is a black GE J1470S,  14.1 megapixel, 7x optical zoom and has a 3.0″ LCD.  It is a handy one (as I want it to fit my pocket).  I bought it in preparation for my forthcoming trip to HK. :)  As I roamed around to look for a new cam, I was mesmerized how techi we are now.  I remember my first cellphone in 1997 was just a simple one.  It is as big as the handpiece of a landline unit hahaha, no camera but now you can even browse the internet only by using cellphone.  And when it comes to games.. there is this family computer.. so simple but now there is this xbox 360 hdmi cable to make the game more enjoyable.  I wonder what will comes next.  Mmmmm….

Here are some of the few new pics I shot while learning how to use my new cam.

Camera Replacement

I own a Canon digital camera and was satisfied with the its features! I have decent photos to print-out and place on my photo album. Not until recently when the battery metal contact inside broke and fell. Not to mention door hatch has been crack too. Wrong timing coz I really need a camera these days. That’s why I’m eyeing for some not so expensive fuji cameras on stocks. I heard they took beautiful photos too, especially at night. I think I have to find one sooner before my budget diminish.

Backyard Gardening

I’m still in the process of house beautification.  Now it’s gardening time.  My backyard is spacious enough to plant some plants like flowers and vegetables.  But the problem is I don’t have a green thumb. :(  I searched that I must have a compost bin so that I could fertilize the soil first.  Ok, gotta have one.  Aside from the backyard, I have a small garden at the front of the house to work on too and also I am thinking to have flower pots to surround the house.  Oh I have so many plan, the problem is… the budget and the time. Hehehehe…. Any helping hands out there?
