Laryngotracheobronchitis
Do someone know the simple word for this illness? My son once again hospitalized because of this. The symptoms? Severe coughing. I gave my son cough medicine for 2 days from the sign of cough but it didn’t relieve him and if you hear him cough especially at bedtime, you’ll pity him. So I sent him to Sta. Lucia Health clinic to have a check up and the doctor advice me to confine him in the hospital. She gave me referral.
As we entered the room. Well, what would I expect? it’s a ward room. There were 6 beds. Sean’s bed was already prepared. I just wish they used sferra sheets on his bed. Hahahaha… silly me. Sean stayed in the hospital for 3 days (negative to pneumonia) but unfortunately he still coughing. Dr. Domasian just gave us home medication to continue. It’s been a week now but still Sean have cough. Now I am giving him Lagundi and I noticed that he is better now. I’ll keep praying that he will be completely healed.
Stomatitis
Right now I am writing this article at Marikina Valley Medical Center. Sean Kirk is being confined for the very first time due to stomatitis. He has been suffering from it since Thursday. I decided to bring him here because he’s having hard time swallowing foods. He hardly eat and drink for 3 days now which may cause him to dehydration.
It is not really a serious one. Actually it’s the first time I knew that someone is hospitalized because of stomatitis (singaw). But since they are located near his throat, it’s painful for him to intake foods. And my heart breaks whenever I saw him crying from pain when eating or drinking. As of now, he has not been given meds yet because it is out of stock, so we still have to wait ’til tomorrow. Just hoping and praying that he will get well soon. Lord Jesus Christ, please heal Sean. Amen.
Drinking Safe Water
drinks mineral water, distilled water or purified water? Is it because tap water from Manila Waters and Maynilad isn’t safe to drink? I don’t think so. Still lots of people drink directly from their faucets. Maybe people who can afford to buy bottled water only wants safer water. How much does it cost? It costs me 120.00 a month. Me and Sean consumed 1 5-gallon container a week and with a low-income earner it would be just another burden. There’s another way to drink safer water… it is by using reverse osmosis water filter as it removes a broad range of contaminants. Water from home filter isn’t just safe to drink but also it gives healthier water. So it is worth buying even it’s a little pricey. I think it would be my next project. 
Esophageal CA
What is this condition? The question I had in mind when I visited my uncle in
the hospital. CA… I know it’s short term for cancer. OMG! My uncle is suffering from cancer? This is the truth that really depressed me. The truth that up to now my aunt doesn’t know. I know she will be distressed upon knowing this. My uncle had been confined in the hospital for almost a month now. They are waiting for the biopsy result to know if he will undergo operation or not. Can you imagine the expenses they are going through? They need 2,500.00/day for the medicines. It is really painful in the pocket. Luckily that he doesn’t need an adult diapers because it is additional burden. But I patronage adult diapers for my father. I buy 3 packs a week! My uncle got the cancer from too much smoking and heavy drinking.
Femoral Fracture
I am hoping for her surgery at the soonest time possible because she’s been suffering from pain. You know it’s also hard for us who watch her because we lack some sleep which might cause us adult acne or pimples. But I don’t care, what I care most is my mom’s successful surgery. Please help me pray for her successful operation and fast recovery.
