OLA Feast Day
Participants were having a dance parade! Oldies and young ones wore colorful baro’t saya. The reason why I brought out my canon digital cameras and took some snaps. Lively folk music were being played by 2 bands (1 at the front of the parade and one at the tail) as different groups danced synchronized steps. This tradition of Filipinos made us different from other countries. We are such a religious people. We celebrate feast days with joy and pride even
when we are in distress. That’s the Filipino spirit!
Happy Easter Sunday
At an early age of 6, I am not expecting him to finish the procession because it’s really tiring so it ended up with riding on St. Jude’s float (karo). Thank God that he doesn’t need an allergy bedding to sleep soundly those exhausting nights. That’s one thing that I should be thankful to God.Sean is such a healthy young boy.
The Spirit of Christmas
Christmas is the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ was born on this very special day. Everybody is preparing and excited on this day. Why? Because this is the day of giving, the season of merriment through colorful decorations, like lantern, artificial christmas trees and christmas lights. This is also the time of exchanging gifts, buying new clothes and toys for our loved ones and the time to see our godchildren which we haven’t seen for a long time.
But whatever preparation we do for the coming day. We must not forget to include going to Church and greet Jesus Christ a Happy Birthday (It’s His day anyways)
And make everyday a Christmas Day.
Time Flies Fast
Time flies really fast. In a few days from now another year will be added to my age. Gee I’m getting old! Guess I already need some wrinkle cream hehehehe. Anyways, this path is all we’re going to. What important is you are living as a good citizen and a God-fearing individual.
What do you think the achievement of a person who’s in his late 30′s? Having his own family? dwelling? having a stable job? able to help parents and other people? What do you think?
Pope John Paul II and The Virgin Mary
Got this e-mail and want to share it to the world.
We don’t know why John Paul II wanted to hide this picture for years. The Vatican published this picture recently, for first time. This picture was taken by one of his security guards just when the Pope was attacked and was falling down in his Papamobil. You can see the pain in his face.
Joaquin Navarro Valls, who is the one spokesman from The Vatican, said that they made a lot of studies for years of this incredible picture and of course about the quality of the developing of the picture because when it was developed nobody could see very well because the image was not clear. Finally, and after so many controls and being looking and checking by all the experts in photography (around the world), they decided that there were no tricks in it and today they give us this beautiful gift from our Mother of God.
You can see the Mother of God holding John Paul II in her arms. Beautiful right?
