The Grand Alumni Homecoming of Roosevelt College Marikina has just been held last April 28, 2012. Once again it was fun meeting  some old friends from high school and for the second time we rendered a special production number to grace the night so with some other batches.   Congratulations to Batch ’88 (the host batch) for it was so successful. Kudos to all of you!

That is also the time when I reminisced what I did in high school and realize that what if I did good in school?   What will I be now? Because you know, I’m kinda a happy-go-lucky student. After secondary… college… and for some it didn’t end there… there’s masteral education and gre prep for those who wants to work abroad.

Next year it would be Batch ’89 who will host the GAH.   Wishing they’ll do their best and hope to witness it again. How about you guys, have you ever attended an event like this?

It is such a tiring day for me as I went to GSIS Main Branch in Pasay City commuting. Can you imagine the temperature outside and I was transferring from one vehicle to another? It took me 9 rides to get home.  Whew! First, tricycle going out of the village, secondly ride a jeepney to Junction, third ride an FX to Ayala, fourth ride a taxi to GSIS which costs 100 pesos. Nice to stay in the building for it’s cold. Going back home is such an adventure for me. Fifth ride I took a small jeepney to LRT station (forgot the name of the station), sixth took a train ride to EDSA station, 7th from EDSA station to Cubao-Araneta station, 8th ride a jeepney to Sta. Lucia Grandmall then finally tricycle again back to home… Isn’t so tiring??? But still can’t take a rest… I still have a dance practice tonight!

We must learn more about side effects of diet pills before we take one. This is very important! I swear!   I’ve been here before and my memory was affected by a certain diet pill I took. I used to have a sharp memory, but now… it’s bad! There are times that I forgot the
word that I have to say… sometimes forgets the names of my friends… forgets where I placed certain things…   Can you imagine that? But sometimes I am thinking if this memory gaps are because of that diet pill or just because of aging? Hahahaha

We often hear “You are trending in Twitter” which means that you are famous all over the world. In todays fast phasing techi world we use facebook, twitter, yahoo messenger to send messages. We seldom use of e-mail.   But e-mail won’t be gone for sure for we still use it for business and personal communications.  And it’s kinda more private.   Do you know how to use e-mail correctly? We must check our composed email twice or even thrice before hitting the button “Send”. Why? because once it’s send and you found some mistakes later on… you can’t take back your sent email.   Unlike in hard copies, you can edit-print-edit-print documents as needed just be sure you have aurora paper shredder to keep your mistakes confidential somehow.   hahahaa… So which one do you prepare in sending messages?  For me I’m using FB and YM for short messages and using e-mail in sending documents.

I admit it… I’m getting old because now I need to wear eyeglasses. I used to have a 20/20 vision but when I reached 40, I began to have difficulty in reading.  I thought it is just a saying that when you reached this age, your vision will start to get blurred. It’s true!!!
I now have my first set of reading eyeglasses with 100/100 vision.  I sometimes use it whenever I am doing some reports but not all the time, I still can read even without it. Not that bad huh?
