Farewell Whitney

I feel so melancholic for Whitney’s sudden death. I’ve been a fan of her since the movie “Bodyguard” was shown. I am very sure that it’s not only me who feel this way. Many people love and adore her. As of this moment, I am listening to her music and reminiscing all her music, videos and the movie that made her famous. But I am sure even she left our world she will always be in our heart and her music cd duplication will linger forever. To you my idol… May you rest in peace. I will always love you.
Weekend Activities
It’s friday night once again… weekend starts… so I decided to rent 5 dvd movies in Video City ,to watch for the weekend. I watched the
movie Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s movie “Won’t Last The Day…” first. Once again I wanna feel how to fall in love again even in a short while (how hopelessly romantic I am… hehehe).
As I watched the movie, I noticed something…. Wait! The house that Sarah’s family used is actually owned by my relatives in San Roque Marikina! OMG! How in the world I didn’t know that??? I should have seen Sarah, Gerald and Joey de Leon in person and took some pics. tsk. tsk. tsk.
It was so nice to see the scenes inside the house. Familiar things in the sala set, the terrace, the kitchen with the triple undermount sink, the clinic was not shown maybe because they can’t move the equipment there. And I wonder where did they place St. Jude???
The movie is a light drama which made me cried especially with the heartbreaking scenes. Hu.Hu.Hu… And yes! I fell in love with the moviE and it made me think if I can feel this thing called LOVE again. Hayyzzz….
Hongkong Trip: Disneyland
We left the hostel at around 9 in the morning. Our first plan is to spend the whole day at Disneyland but one of us asked if we can go to Peak Tower first. We all agreed. They said that Peak Tower is the highest point in Hongkong and it is the best spot to take a pic of the entire city.
We rode the tram up to the peak at HKD 30.00 for adult and HKD 15.00 for kids using our Octopus card with 50% discount. And we also paid $25.00 for adult and $12.50 for kids as we entered the Peak. We took some awesome shots and headed to the Disneyland ticket booth, bought the tickets which cost $399 for adult and $285 for kids… and guess what? We had an umbrella freebies which my son is joyfully using it. It always reminds him of the wonderful Disney tour.
We reached the famous theme park via three connecting MTR rides. And let me tell
you, I am amazed on their transportation system. You don’t have to get out of one station to another, the station is really connected anywhere you want to go. Reaching the Disneyland Theme Park really made me excited, made us really excited. As we entered the park, we can’t stop ourselves on taking pictures. Every sides and corners of the park are really worth visiting for.
Lunch inside the park is kinda pricey. Converted to our currency, a chicken-rice meal with drinks costs around 500 pesos. After we ate our lunch, the most awaited parade began. I was teary eyed as I watched the parade. Good enough that it didn’t push to a loud cry. hahahaha… The parade was fantastic. I saw the Disney characters but unluckily I didn’t able to watch with Sean. I didn’t see his excitement. We parted ways. But on the other hand I saw the excitement of my niece, Ada who was with me. Two of us got lost because of the crowd. They roamed the park on their own while the six of us still stick together.
We had picture takings with the famous Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse,
Winnie the Pooh, Pluto and Sean’s favorite, Buzz Light Year. As night came we are all excited to witness the famous fireworks over the princess’s castle. We bought some stuffs at the souvenir shops and left the park with a grin.
This trip is a dream came true and will never ever forget.
Time Flies
Looking at our photo albums made me say that time really flies so fast. As if it’s only
yesterday that my son is just a little baby and now he’s in 2nd grade. Lot of changes and improvements. It made me smile. And it also made me realize that there are so many stuff in the house that need to be changed and need to be replaced. To repair leather couch is one of my priority for this year and also to do some repainting. I guess it’s about time to buy new set of television too. LED tv is always a good replacement to conserve energy. But I think I have to have a double job to do these things.
How about new love? Mmmmmmm
Lady Drummer

And who says a lady can’t go banggin’ on the drums? Yes, most drummers you’ll see in bands nowadays are male, but doesn’t it look more impressive if you’ve got that sexy, gorgeous lady drummer who can strike a beat on par with a measly boy on a zildjian a series holiday pack with 21 sweet ride yeah!
It’s not a man’s world anymore, especially in the music industry. Here, anyone who’s got the beat and the heart…RULESS!!!!
