Asbestos in Our Home

Have you ever heard of asbestos and it’s harm to human? Asbestos is a mineral fiber that if you often inhaled it, you may have a lung cancer, Mesothelioma cancer and asbestosis. In the past, asbestos was added to a variety of product to strengthen them and to provide heat insulation and fire resistance.
It can be found in our own home especially if your house was build in the 70’s era. The common products which contains asbestos are the back of a vynil sheet flooring, door gaskets, decorative materials, wall and floors around woodburning stoves, hot water and steam pipes in older houses, etc…
Better to know which product in our home contains asbestos and try to stay away from it.
