Aug 28 Genie in A Bottle

If I could found and rubbed a lamp with Genie in it for my birthday.  I would wish for peace, harmony and prosperity in our country.  Then from there every Filipinos will have a comfortable life.  I could have my dream house too, a mansion in the city and a simple Outer Banks homes when on vacation where I could feel the serenity of the place.  I could travel where ever I want, have some cosmetic surgery like liposuction (better a non-surgical procedure though), I could buy Sean his toys and send him in the best school or even buy LOVE… hahahaha… Dreaming is free… so dream big… :)

Aug 27 Venus Raj Made It

Congratulations to Maria Venus Raj for being the 4th Runner-up to thejust concluded Miss Universe 2010 which was held in Texas, USA.  It’s been awhile that we haven’t reach the Top 15 in this pageant.  And this time Venus proved that Philippines can do it once more.  Calling her last on the list of finalists made me really nervous and helpless. It’s really a good decision not to disqualify her as Bb. Pilipinas – Universe.
Candidates are all gorgeous in their native costumes.  But what I’ve noticed is that majority wore over-designed gowns.  I even thought that maybe some of them would wear an equestrian apparel.  Hahahaha… (I’m just kidding)  Maybe it’s time to change gradually the traditional pageant.

Aug 20 Cameron Diaz – A Virgo

How did I know it?  Aside from being a popular one… We have the same birthday!!!  We both were born on August 30.  Advance Happy Birthday to us. :D  According to Yahoo site she was now the most dangerous celebrity to search on the world wide web (second is Julia Roberts and third is Jessica Biel) for some of the websites featuring her contains malicious software which intends to steal our passwords and other personal information for the creator’s profits.  Well I guess I just have to had her picture on a hand painted plate rather than as a wallpaper on my desktop. ;)  Internet fanatics must be aware of this thing that’s why I wrote something about it.  Hope I warn the public in my own simple way. :D

Aug 18 School Options

What are the factors that we are looking in a school for our kids to get into?  Of course we all wanted a quality education for our kids.  I guess no one will disagree with me here.  When I searched for a school for the first time for Sean, my first factor is the accessibility.  I wanted a near preschool for him, then the method of their teaching and lastly the physical appearance of the school.  Luckily, I got that 3 factors in Green Gables Academy in Cainta, Rizal.  Not to mention the nice preschool furniture they have.
When Sean Kirk turned grade 1, what I searched is the population of the school, and of course the quality of their teaching (effective teachers).  I didn’t mind the distance (thought it’s not that far) as long as he has a service to and from the school.  He is now studying in Dee Hwa Liong Academy in Pasig City and adjusting gradually in his new environment.   I am very proud of him. :)

Aug 14 How to Retire Comfortably

Do you ever think or plan where to retire?  I know it’s kinda odd with my age (still young to think about it), but there are times it came across my thoughts.  Living a simple life is what I consider.  In an island or seaside are the great places for me, where thereis an abundant of sea foods.  Since I am old then, sea foods and vegetables are the best foods for me.  Not to mention that I can grow vegetables at the backyard and fruit-bearing trees as well.  What more if I get a medicare supplement plans to have a comforatable retirement days.  I just wish I can reach my retirement age and GSIS at that time still have money to give my benefits/pension. :)
